Americana Painted Flower Pots

This is a fun and easy craft to do with your children this month. It’s also a great way to show your patriotic pride.

Supplies:

Any size clay pot (the cost for a 4″ pot is approximately $.50)
Potting mix or soil
Art paints, use an exterior paint if you plan to use your pot outdoors (available at discount and hobby stores) - approx. cost $.80 each
Craft paint brush
Pencil
Star stencils (optional)
Newspaper or old cloth
Clear spray enamel (available in the spray paint section of your discount or paint supply store) - approx. cost $2.00
Plant or seeds
Your imagination
